This web site was created to introduce my services and to provide helpful information for clients as they begin the process of choosing a therapist. A mental health counselor licensed in both Washington, DC and Virginia, I earned a Masters Degree in Clinical Community Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. For the past decade I have been working with children, adolescents, adults and families in the DC metro area.

As a psychotherapist, my goal is to create caring, respectful and trusting relationships with each client so he or she can feel comfortable sharing thoughts and feelings with me. As we work together, I challenge my clients to explore alternative ways to deal with their issues so they can improve their lives.
